Method-1: Using the Task view

Step-1: Go to the taskbar and click on the task view.

Step-2: On the top left corner, you will find the option of a new desktop. Click on it.

Method-2: Using the shortcut Key

We can also create a new desktop in Windows 10 by using the  Ctrl  + Windows + D keyboard shortcut. This shortcut key will immediately create and open a new desktop on your laptop or computer.

To delete multiple desktops in Windows, follow the steps given below:

Step-1: Again, go to the taskbar and click on the task view.

You can switch between the desktops by using the  Windows + Ctrl + >  shortcut keys. 

Note:
  • If you want to switch to the next desktop, then press Windows + Ctrl + left arrow key together.
  • If you want to switch to the previous desktop, then press Windows + Ctrl + right arrow key together.
